How to locate and repair a CCT Fault
LEDs attached to a DR2 do not change color
- Moving the slider while the momentary is pressed does not change color (it dims).
- In ZWD, when the device is expanded, the LED Driver mode is not "ALL CCT".
Check LED connections
Visit Advanced:
- Click on the radio button next to the "short" address of the switch.
- Click on Query Status.
- Check that the Left and Right status are OK.
- If either is "Bad" then there is an open wire to the LEDs – Right is warm, Left is cool. Repair the wire.
Firmware version 54 or later
The number of LEDs on the cool and white string must be the same. Check this first.
Expand the AL-WS-DR2 switch. On the bottom, there are two status boxes with "height" Left and Right.
Ensure the numbers are the same. Each P023R6 is 3 units – if there are 12 in the circuit, this means there are 4 fixtures of 3 units each.
If the numbers are not the same, enter the physical number into both sides, then click on Re-Calibrate.
CCT will not be possible until the two sides match.
Firmware version 53 or earlier
In Advanced, check the button next to the switch number, click on "Reset", turn the switch ON, and wait for recalibration.
CCT will not be possible until the two sides match.
Test the DR2
Exchange the LED left and right. Click on Reset in Advanced to force a retest if the "bad" output stays on the same side.
Series LEDs not wired right
DL-120: Use lever nuts to bypass all LEDs except one. Use the DR2 output to drive one LED, then add one at a time.
P023R6: Connect the OJ-606 connectors together except one. Use the DR2 output to drive one LED, then add one at a time.
After repairing the wiring fault – click on Rescan device.
