Home Assistant Integration
As the homeowner, you have full access to the Raspberry Pi in the ATX Hub and can install any package you wish. While we do not install Home Assistant due to its complexity, many homeowners have successfully installed it onto the ATX Hub to gain advanced smart home control using its available space and processing power.
User-Reported Installation Steps
- Start Home Assistant.
- Go to Settings > Devices & Services in Home Assistant.
- Click the “Add Integration” button in the bottom right corner.
- Select or search for Philips.
- Select Hue from the list.
- Enter the IP address for the ATX Hub.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
Popular Setup Methods
- Use a dedicated Raspberry Pi communicating via LAN or WLAN.
- Co-locate Home Assistant on the ATX Hub, setting the HA port to a different number (e.g., 8123).
We currently do not offer full support for Home Assistant installations.
